Cabinets by Stanley is a second-generation architectural millwork studio based in Brooklyn. We build custom millwork, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork for high-end residential interiors throughout New York City, collaborating with top builders, architects, and interior designers.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Woodworker / Cabinet Maker to join our team. This role is ideal for a seasoned craftsperson with a strong background in high-end residential millwork and cabinetry, precise fabrication skills, and the ability to execute custom work at the highest level.
What You’ll Do
Fabricate custom millwork, cabinetry, and built-ins for high-end residential interiors
Work with hardwoods, veneers, sheet goods, and specialty materials
Execute precise joinery and detailed craftsmanship
Read and interpret shop drawings
Maintain high standards of fit, finish, and quality
Work independently on complex pieces or as part of a collaborative team
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Contribute to a positive, respectful shop culture
What We’re Looking For
12+ years experience in architectural millwork or high-end custom cabinetry
Deep understanding of fabrication techniques and fine woodworking practices
Strong skills in veneers, hardwoods, joinery, assembly, and finishing prep
Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings
Experience with modern woodworking machinery (sliding table saw, edge bander, wide belt sander, etc.)
Self-motivated, reliable, organized, and detail-driven
Calm under pressure and able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
Portfolio required — photos of past work are acceptable
